In 1973, the Durant family planted their first vineyard in the Dundee Hills. In the 30+ years since this first planting the Durants have grown and harvested fine wine grapes. Some of these original vineyards still produce today. As pioneers in the Oregon wine industry, the Durant family has focused on producing premier Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. The Durants recognized early on the unique character of wines produced in the Dundee Hills. As one of the last independent growers in Oregon, this vineyard provides grapes to some of the premier wineries in the state. The Durants have a passion for quality and understand that individual wineries strive to produce their own special style and character in their wine. With their long history and understanding of the Dundee HIlls, the Durants have consistently produced some of the finest wine grapes in the world.
